Cruiser Ride

This is just in -- The CoMBA March Update! We'd LOVE to see some of you Dirt Divas at the Cruiser Ride Tuesday eve, March 31st. We'll have a table there and will talk to the ladies (and their gents) about our social rides and how much fun we have!

· March Update·

LET'S CRUISE!
Join Woody's, New Belgium, Golden Bike Shop, Dirt Divas and COMBA for the Golden Cruiser Ride on Tuesday, March 31st to shake off the spring snow with some cruiser bike shenanigans, pizza and beer. Check out the COMBA website for further Cruise details.

GET DIRTY!
COMBA will have numerous opportunities this season to work in the dirt- including helping to maintain our current stable of favorite trails via our support of the Mini-Crew program, as well as building new trail! More info to follow soon, but in the meantime, we're hoping to recruit the next generation of Crew Leaders. Do you like working outdoors to make a difference while (politely) telling people what to do? If so, we want to hear from you to discuss upcoming training opportunities: info@comba.org.

WEBSITE UPDATE
Thanks for your patience while we re-work COMBA.org. The interim blog has proven useful, but we hope to roll out the new site May 1st. If you haven't visited in a while, be sure to read (Director) Michelle Beckman's summary of her trip to the National Bike Summit on our behalf. You'll also find the agendas and minutes for all meetings of the Board of Directors posted there.

MOAB!
Speaking of group rides, the Dirt Divas have offered to partner up with COMBA members for an early escape to the desert: April 17-19. Join us for a weekend of of sun, camaraderie, camping, and epic riding! Please RSVP to grouprides@comba.org by April 10.

Support COMBA - Join now!
Did you know...? That it takes over 200 hours per season to maintain one mile of trail? That attendance at the Public Forum with JCOS exceeded 200 engaged and concerned mountain bikers? If 200 mountain bikers volunteered 3 hours over the course of an entire riding season, it would represent 600 hours of trail work - the equivalent of a season's maintenance on three miles of trail. We invite everyone to join COMBA, and volunteer some time as well.
Trail maintenance not your thing? We welcome your contributions in other areas, too, such as the annual Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day event.

To join COMBA, visit our website at www.comba.org and click on "become a member".
