What's new with the Dirt Divas?
After operating as a loose-knit social ride club for over 5 years, the leadership team of the Dirt Divas decided to incorporate as a nonprofit organziation run totally on volunteer effort. A Board of Directors was established and Dirt Divas founder Nancy Kelly was officially appointed President. The Board determined that the Dirt Divas needed to institute a small yearly membership fee to keep the organization running as a social ride club.

As a member of the Dirt Divas, you are supporting the sport you love -- and for just $40 per year, you are financially providing a way for the Dirt Divas to:
- continue offering mountain bike (and road) riding opportunities in a social, non-threatening, encouraging and fun atmosphere for women, by women
- collaborate with other organizations such as COMBA
- provide discounts on bike clothing, accessories, bike maintenance and more
- obtain sponsors and support for Dirt Divas activities
- be kept abreast of local advocacy issues, such as trail access
- encourage awareness of trail maintenance and trail building opportunities through Jefferson County, COMBA, IMBA and the Colorado Trail Foundation

You can join on this blog page or by going to the Dirt Divas website (link on this page), click the "Donate" button and indicate that you're submitting your 2010 membership dues!

Weekly rides are still free!
However, joining the Dirt Divas means you become a member of an elite group! We are Colorado's only women's mountain biking nonprofit organization, which offers social and destination rides -- along with camaraderie, fun, laughs and skill development! We'd LOVE for you to join us in the FUN!
